A skull worn on a character's head or face as if it were a mask or helmet. This is commonly seen on tribal characters, though may be a sign of a necromancer or other magic user.
Please be careful of characters whose heads are actually skulls, though it's recommended to err on the side of inclusiveness.
Face paint in the shape or design of a skull is tagged skull_face_paint.
The Pokémon cubone is frequently depicted with a skull mask, however its evolution Marowak is usually, but not always, drawn as if it has a skull for a head instead.
