whiskers
Whiskers are elongated specialized hairs usually employed for tactile sensation. "Vibrissae" hair grow around the nostrils, above the lips, and on other parts of the face of most mammals, as well as on the forelegs and feet of some animals. whiskers are usually thicker and stiffer than other types of hair.
- If the base of the whiskers is also drawn, you can add whisker spots with this tag.
- For whiskers that seem made of long fleshy tendrils rather then hairs, use flesh_whiskers instead, and barbels for stiff fleshy protrusions around the mouth or nose.
