Scorbunny (Japanese: ヒバニー Hibanī, Hibunny) is a Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII, announced on February 27, 2019, as the Fire-type member of the starter trio featured in Pokémon Sword and Shield.

Scorbunny is a semi-anthro, bipedal lagomorph-like Pokémon. It has buckteeth and beady, orange eyes with a pink nose. Its fur is white with red markings, with whisker-like tufts of fur on its cheeks and has a pair of long, dipstick ears. On its body are bandages, or bandage-like appendages, with one right above its nose and one on the sole of each foot, giving it the appearance of an active sports player, such as a soccer or rugby player.
