Species: teostra

Teostra are quadrupedal pantherine-/lion-like, elder dragon, draconic creatures found in Monster Hunter.

They possess large and fluffy manes as well as a pair of horns. They posses scales, glowing eyes, membranous wings, tufted tails, as well as large and sharp fangs and claws. They also possess the ability to breath fire.

Like Rathalos and Rathian, Teostra display obvious sexual dimorphism, and are referred to by differing names depending on the gender, with males being called Teostra whereas female Teostra are known as Lunastra. The male Teostra have warm color schemes with brown scales and orange manes, whereas Lunastra have cooler colors with blue scales and blue manes. Their horn structures are also very distinct, with Teostra having ridged and curved horns that face backwards, while Lunastra horns are incredibly thick and form a crown-shaped crest of sorts.
