My Little Pony Tales was the second animated series based on the My Little Pony franchise, which aired from August to December 1992. My Little Pony Tales was a slice of life cartoon following seven female ponies living like humans in a place called "Ponyland".

It is a common misconception that Tales is the cartoon from G2 of MLP, however, it is actually a G1 cartoon. It takes place in a separate continuity from the other G1 continuity, My Little Pony 'n Friends, which most G1 media takes place in.
