Goodbye Volcano High is a narrative adventure game developed by Canadian studio KO_OP.
The game was announced on June 11, 2020 at Sony's "Future of Gaming" online event for the PlayStation 5. Originally slated for a 2021 release, it was released August 29, 2023 on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows (via Steam).
Set in a world of anthropomorphic dinosaurs, the game centers on nonbinary musician Fang (voiced by Lachlan Watson), their best friends Trish (Ozioma Akagha) and Reed (Mark Whitten), Fang's younger brother and class president Naser (Abe Bueno-Jallad), and yearbook club leader Naomi (Allegra Clark). When senior year at Volcano High is disrupted by an impending meteor strike that will end the era of dinosaurs, Fang is forced to live boldly and make hard choices with the short time they have left.
Other characters include Rosa, Stella, Sage, and Ms. Roberts.
