canon x oc
Canon x OC describes scenes with sexual, suggestive and/or romantic interaction between a character from a copyrighted series or media property (such as a video game, cartoon, anime or book), and a character owned by an individual artist or commissioner.
Tagging Notes
- For the purposes of this tag "OC" can apply to...
- A wholly original character — a character owned by an individual with no connection to any outside media
- A fan character — characters made to fit into the "universe" of a specific media property
- A fursona — an artist or commissioner's furry self representation
- A self insert — a more overt and direct artist/commissioner self representation, will be human or humanoid
- What is NOT Canon x OC:
- images where the non-canon character is an anon, the character is faceless, or is mostly off screen, unless the partially visible character is specifically intended to be an identifiable character.
- An OC engaging in romantic or sexual activity with "generic" unnamed individuals of a species specific to a franchise — e.g. a generic changeling from My Little Pony or a Lopunny from Pokémon
- The original character does not need to have a tag entry to count for this tag, but having the OC's name tagged is encouraged.
