torogao
トロ顔 (from Japanese – "Melting Face")
Torogao is a facial expression that indicates a trance-like state of pleasure. The eyebrows are slanted downward toward the sides, framing half-closed eyes that may be moist with tears. A half-open mouth, perhaps carelessly adorned with saliva as pleasure relaxes the facial muscles, is also commonly featured. May furthermore involve heavy breathing and/or a contented smile.
While often triggered from sexual pleasure, this facial expression might come from other sources of rapture such as eating one's favorite food or receiving a massage.
Note: Not to be confused with ahegao, an exceptionally intense and wild-faced version of torogao. (Ahegao is most easily recognized by the presence of eye roll and tongue out features.)
