Death is an American Death Metal band, they're considered to be the first band of death metal, although this title is disputed by Possessed and Death, one of the reasons being that Death were mainly inspired by Possessed, this is clearly evidenced in their first albums and somewhat on Chuck's, the singer (RIP), vocal's.
