Frye is a member of the Splatoon idol group 'deep cut' alongside shiver and big man, she is a vocalist and dancer for the group and is one of the bosses of the story mode.

Her style is greatly influenced by indian culture and plays the flute in a similar fashion to a snake charmer to her eels.
She comes from the onaga clan and has two other unknown siblings.
