Dying in a glue trap is an exploitable meme of various characters drawn in fan art of them being stuck and even dying or dead in a glue trap, with their back towards the viewer, often accompanied with the apt text "Fan art I drew of [character] dying in a glue trap".

The meme started January 11th, 2023 with the LGBTQ+ artist icarianarts when they drew and posted to Tumblr simplistic fan art of Dobby the house elf from Harry Potter stuck in a glue trap, with the text "Fan art I drew of dobby dying in a glue trap". icarianarts stated the drawing is meant to represent their resentment towards J.K. Rowling for her vehemently anti-LGBTQ+ political stances. Following a parody of the meme with South Park's Eric Cartman by @radishrrabbit on Twitter in mid March, redraws with various character gained popularity.
