Common applications

• Certain animals make hissing noises, and artists may choose to use hissing sounds to make a creature appear more provocative, and dangerous. The animal_noises tag should be used anytime a character produces this sound.
• This is the sound of escaping air, as from an inflatable.
• Sizzling, a boiling sound effect, usually makes a hissing sound. Hissing will appear in digestion themes.
