A chain worn around the waist/belly as jewelry, often has pendants, gems, or other decorations. May be attached to other chains around the wearer's torso or to a wearer's navel piercing.

Belly chains are often associated with belly dancers, but should not be confused with coin belts which belly dancers may often also wear.
