stone tablet
A stone tablet, as a tag, applies to any chiselled slab of stone or clay that holds images or text. These were used as ways to send messages and store records in ancient times before the advent of paper, as well as a way to preserve information for long periods of time in the ancient world.
This tag should not be confused with a stele, which is a large stone monument that has text and images chiselled into it, or an obelisk, a specific type of stele.
