Sipping is drinking a fluid in small quantities such as through a straw, or from the edge of a cup. It is the opposite concept to chugging.
Sipping is sometimes indicated by the sound effects "Sip", or "Slurp". Either of these sound effects used in relation to a beverage, or soup can be considered as sipping.
