airship
In real life an airship (or dirigible balloon) is a lighter-than-air aircraft that's filled with lighter-than-air gas, such as Hydrogen or Helium, to make itself float into the sky as well as being equipped with self-propulsion systems such as propellers and thrusters.
In fiction an airship also refers to any large floating aircraft that makes use of exotic technologies, concepts, and fictional materials and substances to stay afloat. These include things such as anti-gravity, magic, telekinesis, and floating rocks.
