The Mimic is an antagonist character featured in the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise. It is a large endoskeleton with long limbs and a malevolent personality. It is capable of inhibiting any costume or animatronic suit by adjusting its own proportions, and can copy the voices of other people and animatronics. It was introduced in the Tales from the Pizzaplex book series, and debuted in the video games in the Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach DLC Ruin where it impersonates Gregory to trick Cassie into freeing it from its underground prison.
