acid pool
A body of acidic fluid, usually bright green, bubbling and/or steaming. An acid pool may be a "natural" lake of acid, a vat of acid, or a literal pool of acid. The effects can vary, from merely causing dissolving clothing, to causing acid burns, to instantly dissolving anything on contact.
Alternatively, a character may be naturally immune to the acid, and be shown swimming in, or partially submerged in the acidic liquid without harm.
