A physical trait commonly found on humanoid animals, mid transformations, and some mostly furless species; A Fur Patch refers to fur covered areas of a mostly furless skin. Sometimes these patches form patterns such as tiger stripes. They usually grow on extremities (such as hands and feet), the groin, and chest area. This is usually done by character designers to preserve the character's modesty without resorting to clothing and/or visually conveying to the viewer how the character is more bestial than your typical humanoid animal.

Not to be confused with your typical body hair as these are more compact and fur-like.
