Professor Kathryn de Winter or better known as the superhero Purity is a muscular blue/purple-maned unicorn mare with white fur belonging to Purity_deWinter . Believed to be an immortal heroine Kathryn is actually the current incarnation in a long line of Puritys, who have protected the people since the medieval ages. Her secret identity is a professor of criminology at a college with her fellow heroes Stellara and Durabelle as her colleague and student respectively. She's also a bit of a fitness buff, partially to explain her physique but also to relieve stress.

Purity’s hero outfit consists of a red and black bodysuit, red gloves, red boots and a domino mask. These clothes are made from spandex, leather or latex (depends on the artist). The maltese_cross decorates the front side of her bodysuit, either at the center or on her right breast.

The powers of Purity are inherited from her mother and include super strength, super toughness, flight and the inherent protection of her secret identity. The last part causes cameras to get out of focus when trying to take pictures of her and something to interfere with people trying to learn the masked mare’s true identity.
Purity also possesses some weaknesses of note. Both magic and mind-based attacks are very effective against the heroic mare. Also, her strong sense of justice and protecting others can be used against her by her enemies. A more personal weak spot is the pride Kathryn takes in her strong body, which leads her to become cocky and overconfident at times. Also, she gets immensely turned on if her opponent does manage to restrain her. Yes, another pervy hero.

Purity has an evil alternate version in Depravity, a corrupted and twisted demoness from a different universe.
