Rillaboom (Japanese: ゴリランダー Gorirander) is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII.
It is the final form of Grookey and it evolves from Thwackey starting at level 35.
Rillaboom is a bipedal Pokémon with a resemblance to an ape or a gorilla. Its body is mainly mud-colored. It has a large orange snout with a dark brown nose, which is also present on its ears and around its orange eyes with white pupils.
Its forehead is light brown, as are its torso, abs, hands and feet. It also has butterfly-shaped markings on each shoulder of the same color.
This Pokémon has thick leafy hair coming out of the back of its head, with a single vine in front of its face (like a frezzy strand).
It also has a "belt" and "cuffs" made of leaves...
Rillaboom always carries a large drum on its back, which it puts in front of itself in battle. This drum is created from a tree stump from which four thick branches protrude...
This Pokémon's appearance is inspired by a popular representation of a drummer, particularly a taiko player. Also, its behavior may refer to the fact that gorillas beat their chests rhythmically to show social dominance.
