Jellie was a real-life cat belonging to YouTuber GoodTimesWithScar.
She passed on January 4th, 2024 at the age of 17 1/2 years old, according to a post made on Scar's Instagram account.

Jellie was added as a variant of Minecraft's in-game cat mob in update Java 1.14 / Bedrock 1.10, after winning the Cat Competition from MineCon Earth 2018.
