Ratoo, is a minor character in Cult of the Lamb. He is Ratau's older brother.

Prior to the events of the game, Ratoo was a sailor and a lover literally gave his heart to his love at sea. As a result, Ratoo has been miserable and devoid of feelings and functions associated with having a heart. Their is a side-quest in the game to help Ratoo find his lost heart. This can be accomplished by summoning the demon Hathor and giving it to Ratoo, who recognizes it as his lost heart.

Aside from this Ratoo can be encountered on crusades in either Heart Rooms or Random Rooms. Within the Heart Room, Ratoo will use his heart spring to heal The Lamb. Within a Random Room, Ratoo will assign a challenge involving the lamb either not dodging, cursing, or taking damage for three combat encounters. Completing this challenge will cause Ratoo to appear and reward you with either a new follower form, blue prints, coins, or resources.

Ratoo will not realize that the Lamb is his brother's protegee unless Ratau was sacrificed to The Fox.

Ratoo is a brown rat that is missing his right eye and a section of his left ear, in this way he mirrors his brother Ratau. He also appears to be much older, his facial fur being extremely shaggy and taking on the appearance of a greying beard. Ratoo has a staff with a leaf growing out of it, and a heart wedged into it. He carries another heart in a handheld cage and there is also a heart symbol visible on his hat . Ratoo's staff has been bandaged a few times, similar to the staff that Ratau carries.

Ratoo's most notable characteristic is that his ribcage has been torn apart, leaving behind an open chest cavity. Due to this, he wears no clothing save a pair of boots and a hat. If The Lamb gives him Hathor, the demon will appear to be embedded in his ribcage.
