Orin the Red or Orin Anchev, Epithet: Deathbringer of Bhaal is one of the 3 major antagonists of Baldur's Gate 3.
She is the great granddaughter of Bhaal, God of Blood and Murder and granddaughter/daughter of Sarovak Anchev the main antagonist of Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate 2. She is also the great niece/niece of The Dark Urge and became the current chosen of Bhaal after usurping them.
Orin is a human/doppelganger hybrid or a changeling. She is an extremely dangerous and elusive shape shifter and assassin. She is mentioned in Act 1 appears in Act 2 and repeatedly appears and antagonize the player throughout Act 3 before the player is forced to confront them. Orin has pale blue-grey skin with swirling, smoke-like plumes of red undulating across it. Her eyes are dull grey, contoured by dark eyeliner, giving her an intimidating look. Her straw-colored, braided hair falls to the backs of her knees in a fastening reminiscent of a flail. Her armour is bright blood-red, rigid and rough like chitin. She adorns her head with an ornate silver tiara with the centerpiece shaped in the form of a person supplicant, a single crimson gem giving her appearance some color.
Orin by default is a Rogue of the Thief Subclass, giving her an extra bonus action via the Fast Hands feature.
Orin is voiced by Maggie Robertson, who also played Lady Alcina Dimitrescu.
