breath

Physical or narrative representation of a character's breath.

Use this tag when a character's breath is visible, or it appears obvious from the image that a character's breathing is labored (huffing, panting), or characterized by an emphasized exhalation (sigh). Breathing effects may take the form of a puff, or cloud, appear as a fog / mist surrounding a character, or depicted using sound effects.

Other breathing effects such as the chest moving in and out might be better tagged as breathing instead of breath.

Breath's visibility in art generally attempts to convey a significant difference between the breather's internal body temperature and the ambient temperature of their surroundings. Thus, breath is often seen in cold environments and during or after physical exertion (e.g., sex, exercise, tired, etc.).
