• Cupping the buttocks (palm making contact with the butt) from the sides or top of the butt
• Supporting the butt while upside down or while in midair
• Holding the butt to cover it, potentially a reaction to pain

• A character may hold another by the butt when hugging them from the front or to lift that other character up by the butt
• holding butt may be seen in several sex positions, including the stand and carry position and mastery position
• a character may also hold another's butt as they penetrate from behind or while being having their face sat on

Tagging Notes

Holding Butt Vs. Butt Grab

When "holding butt" the weight of the buttocks rest on the hands, or the hands cup the buttocks from the sides or top. If a character is squeezing or forcefully clasping their butt, typically a single cheek with a single hand, use butt grab instead.

Holding Butt Vs. Spreading

If the character is specifically using their hands/fingers to expose their anus and/or genitalia, without really holding the buttocks, spreading and spread butt can be used instead.
