minigun

Use this tag when you see a gun with multiple rotating barrels that is small enough to (conceivably) be wielded by a human-sized individual.
If the weapon in question is large enough to be considered a cannon (for instance, if it is clearly too large for a human-sized individual to carry around) then only gatling gun should be used.
Technically, the term "minigun" refers specifically to the General Electric M134 Minigun which is chambered for 7.62mm NATO and is named in comparison to its much larger predecessors, like the 20mm M61 Vulcan often seen on military aircraft. Everyone knows rotary guns like these are awesome, but since "rotary gun" is a bit of a mouthful, "minigun" has become genericized as a way to refer to any "man-portable" bullet hose with multiple rotating barrels. In light of this, "minigun" on e621 should be used to tag any image where such a weapon is depicted.
Don't actually try to fire one of these unmounted.
