Playing xcom 2 right now although ive got a wierd glitch that keeps puttong my weapons back to basic versions its not game breaking but annoying having to change them back

Can I get at least 2 more chances for uploading, my upload limit got nuked and I can't upload anything to show anyone how I've improved. No one looks at my FA or even acknowledges that I'm on here.

@KynikossDragonn: Nice! That game scares the absolute crap out of me though...

I've never heard of Impulse Tracker before. It's like a sequencer that can play up to 5 notes polyphonically, right?

Not even close... I just didn't need more than 5 individual channels. 64 is the maximum, 100 "virtual voices" is the absolute ceiling.

OpenMPT's codebase has a theoretically unlimited polyphony though.

Currently listening to The Bourne Identity on audiobook. Had no idea it was a book before a movie. The book is certainly more rich than the film, but I now have a deep respect for both.

what was the old one like, specifically ?

It allowed you to search for comments on posts that were deleted. It allowed you to tick some boxes about whether you wanted a loose search or search for posts that had the exact same words you typed in. Stuff like that. I appreciate the addition of tags, but the way it works now basically broke the function for me.

I know I should've said this far earlier, but what the hell is this new comment search system? Why is it so unintuitive to use? Sticky? What? Why is there nowhere explaining how to use this new version? The old one wasn't this confusing to use.

@Sharp_Coyote: agreed. I go out of my way to acquire books I want.
I've even gone so far as to transcribe them myself if I'm unable to find a printed version.
Also with books I get to use my wee ninja bookmark.

@French_Fried: if the only book store for miles got replaced by a forever 21 I'd think that says more about people than book being obsolete. Never mind the fact I have to stop conversation to explain the english language to people.
I suppose could limit myself to three syllables or less but I'm not going to.

@Doomguy666: The abandonment of the printed page is a tragic one at best. With audiobooks and ebooks, physical books are unfortunately turning obsolete. I enjoy audiobooks, but I never could focus when I’m reading on an electronic device. There’s something about the experience of reading a real book that is simply superior to its modern substitutes.

@French_Fried: you got local book stores? Mine got replaced with a forever 21, I didn't think people read books anymore.
I usually get books from Amazon, maybe you'll get lucky like the time I bought silverwing and I happened to get one autographed by the author. So cool.
