I really didn't think too much about it, so I slapped together Amiga and man.

Amiga as in the Commodore Amiga line of computers. I chose that because I like my retro tech and the Amiga computers are very awesome. A second reason is because, since the computers are so awesome and people loved them for being awesome when they came out, Amigas were used to make "primordial" furry art in the '90s (perhaps the '80s also). Or at least one person, Eric W. Schwartz, used Amigas to make furry art. Not that I checked his work out—I only really know the Walk in the Park animation.

And the man part... Well, Amiga was taken and pretty bland on its own, so I stuck the first random username-lengthening word that came to mind to the end of it. Now in hindsight I reckon I use this alt identity at least 80% of the the time for furry stuff, so mayhaps I should've stuck some random furry word instead. Like AmigaWolf or AmigaAardvark. But what's done is done. It's my alt identity now, and I am attached to the name now.

Surely a Comic that you know and probably you like, but if not, I think you will....

Sabrina on Line, and the Amiga

He. I didn't know about it. Though yes, I did like it. Like I said, I do know the author exists and have an idea of the scope of his work, but I don't actually really care enough to actually read it.

TO THE TOWN OF AGUA FRIA RODE A STRANGER ONE FINE DAYYY

Yeah, it was a bit obvious, but still.

I just randomly decided to theme my discord to a tech scammer, so I picked what I thought was the most common American name and even set my pfp as a stock photo of some dude for a while

when i registered on e6 i had just finished my v1 refsheet for my sona Maxi so i set that as my username lol

I wanted a username I could remember so I used one similar to my Pokemon Showdown username, might change it soon tho.

My name was created from my love for Super Mario Galaxy and the Lumas in it. I loved Lumas so much I named my black cat Luma after the black Luma that Princess Rosalina had. It originated from my new grounds account since the name “hungryluma” was already taken, so I made it HangryLuma and bam, that’s the origins

I think it’s self explanatory. The book was called “House of Leaves”. It was very good, but very confusing. The text was maze like and danced around the page. I could barely keep myself concentrated enough to keep going, but the compelling story drove me to fight through it. It took me a month and a half, but I successfully read the book, and I’m glad I did.

I got mine from Corvo from the Dishonored series. I was really into playing it, plus I fell in love with lore and setting. There was a point in the game where Corvo signed his name and it stuck with me really hard how cool it was. So I took it, added a slight spin to it and created "Carvano".

Plus Corvo can mean "crow" or "raven" in both Italian and Portuguese and they're some of my favorite birds which made it all the more appealing.

I decided to register after being a lurker for a couple of years.

At the same time I was trying to come up with a name, another tab was open. I don't remember what I was doing on that tab but it had fallen into the rabbit hole of "similar images" and it ended up with one of those "what would your [scenario] name be" determined by your first and last name's first letter.

Mine ended up being 'The-Ghostly Criminal', so I just went with it.
Then I changed "The" to "Le" because funni

My username is my fursona's name; there's no pictures of him on e6 at the moment, but Lendri B. Mujina is a tanuki that usually takes the form of a European badger.

"Lendri" is the rabbit language word for "badger" in Watership Down (one of my favorite books).
"Mujina" (狢) can mean both "tanuki" and "badger" interchangeably.
(And yes, the "B." of his middle initial does stand for "Badger". His name is Badger Badger Badger... mushrooms and snakes not necessarily included.)

Both tanuki and badger forms right next to each other: https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/589508585105653782/956803583993606184/A60DDF8A-2297-49CF-B72F-AFA5F6301DFD.png

A lot of the time, I sign my drawings as ふわっぴ (Fuwappi) instead of Magenta-Magic. It's a cute combination between fuwa-fuwa (The japanese onomatopoeia for fluffing something), and 'happy'.

The reason why I had to adapt this name is because on most other websites, my name is FluffiFoxi. When I started participating more heavily in the Japanese side of the fandom, and had a Japanese significant other at the time, the name FluffiFoxi turned out to be difficult to pronounce in Japanese and just does not sound as cute as it does in English. To make it easier for my international friends to pronounce my name, this is the cute little nickname I came up with. :3 Magenta-Magic on the other hand is a reference to my main oc's eye color.

I thought I replied to this but it seems I did not or at least I don't see my reply anywhere. SexyGayDragon comes from my fursona Ryuiki Takashiki who is a sexy gay dragon. I did not wish to use Ryuiki Dragon on porn sites as I use that on non-porn sites but wished to make it obvious I was gay and furry so SexyGayDragon was born.

Basically when I was still a kid, me and my mother made an xbox account and it gave me a random name. It was WaxHades97529 (iirc) and I really loved Halo and saw one guy with "Spartan Phineas" as his name so I followed his tracks since I already had a similar idea for a name. I thought that it sounded amazing. (for context we don't speak English in my country) Spartan Wax was and still is my xbox name and I'm very proud of it. Anyway moving on to my e6 name. I was tired of Spartan Wax for everything. I love it on my Xbox account but idk man, I just had people callin me Wax because it was short and simple so I went for Waxi but Waxi is too short for me so I went with Waxi_Boi. Later changed to Waxi-Chan (Chrzan) for all my stuff but I don't know what Chan means and I also didn't like boi as much so welp right now in discord I have a name that is somewhat similar to my IRL one. Funny thing I Googled yesterday my discord name because I saw like some random stuff on the Internet and turns out my discord name is actually a real name in the word. I'll only say this, it starts with a K

A name my father wanted to give me, supposedly, also fan of nordic mythos. And 13 is the best number there ever is, simple.

while thinking up a name for my new secret furry double-life i decided on the nonsense word "dripden arn" which sounded kinda like it came from a fictional language

at least up until i made a typo when making the email account dropping the d in the middle, so i just rolled with my slightly gross and perverted name

Was going to make a mathematically gifted character for a kinda vaguely RP-like thing, named after Ernst Zermelo. Somehow ended up never using it there, but instead as my username when I signed up at various sites. I'm not even particularly mathy myself.

When I made my account I thought it was just going to be yet another (Yetanother) throwaway/temporary account(temp). That I'd use once then never again. Boy was I wrong

"ILTE" because it is similar to integral, I just put an ''L'' (because I love the lugia) in place of the "N", the word Deliu(Daliu) I just put to increase the volume then joined the two forming "ILTEDALIU". Now I'm using DELTA (a Greek letter) + SOMNIUM ("dream" in Latin).

Who would actually use their first name just as a straight up username? Lmao...

So i learned benji is also a shortening of ben apparently. Thought it was cute, and i like boyos, i an also a boyo.

Bro. Now you're drippin'. You got the drip. Dripen in swag. Dripen Arn'd these bitches.

Think I answered before. Don't see the reply here, so here I go

GayProtogen. Am Gay. Am Protogen. Easy as that.

I am changing it, though. Tired of being called "gay" and not Gen as I usually point out. Having the secondary alias "originalprotogen" was cool and, somehow, unique, but it can get confusing.

My new fursona will be a skull-protogen based on Mal0 (SCP-1471-A).

So-
Mal0gen.
maybe an0Mal0gen? please help guys d<~<b

As previous aliases:
SashimiFox (when I found out I liked sashimi and sushi in general.)
Nicholas Piberius Wilde on Google+ (Oh, the misery-!. I was the most popular Nick Wilde profile back in the day. Fought with antifurs, too much RP, groups raided, my posts got nuked sometimes and I remember being spammed with CP. ,_,)
DoraemonPlayerPT on Minecraft when I got a real account as a gift back in the day.
(I liked Doraemon. I was a player. I was Portuguese. Still am.)

My dos is mixed breed "east siperian laika". She is my best friend and my first completely own dog.
I also living in Finland, in Eastern Europe. So I thinking that name would probably fits me mostly, and maybe it tell a little about me.
Here is cold and east siperian laika is used to living in the middle of snow and frost.

But here is warm and beautiful summer!

My former username (kaneda123456) refered to shotaro kaneda, the protagonist of the manga/anime AKIRA, i used it because it was the first name it came to my mind at the time.

The actual one refers to king arthur, because watching bbc merlin elevated my interest in the matter of britain, and in reference to the quote "HIC•IACET•ARTVRVS•QUONDAM•REX•REXQUE•FVTVRVS". Meaning basicaly: "her lies arthur, king who was and king who will be".
I use it on other sites, but i dont like to use one for all so i also have my collection of usernames.

The story behind my username, hmm.

Well for starters it used to be ZoroarkSlut, but I later decided that was too strong and might not be approachable, so I changed it to Zoroark_Admirer. The core of my name hasn't changed, I'm just expressing how much I love zoroark with different wording... Plus I think Zoroark_Lover was already taken at the time.

I wanted to come up with a throwaway username not connected to other online identities and one of my favorite game series came to mind.

"Noose. Loose Noose. Heh, that sounds funny."
My brain just letting random thoughts go through

Aqua regia, literally "regal water," is mixture of nitric and hydrochloric acids, ideally in a molar ratio of 1:3, so called by mediaeval alchemists because it was the only substance known at the time which could dissolve gold. "Aqua Regis" (same concept) is also an early track by the English industrial band Coil.

It's also a handle which I don't really use many other places. Lets me maintain an air of mystery.

I found this site one night, years ago. My wife and I had just gotten a brand new thirteen inch horse shaped strap on for her and her GF. Well, because of my bad habits at that time in my life, I was really up in outer space when my wife asked me, do you wanna join as our bottom? I thought it meant they'd ride me... They did, just not the way I thought they would. And now we have a massive collection of animal genital shaped toys that we use all the time and... That's how I came up with my name.

The story behind my name is that me and my friends where daring each other so they dared me to make one and so only words on my mind where artic and weed and 69 I was like heck that will be easy to remember and pretty funny

Combination of my favorite character from my favorite psychological horror game (Natsuki from Doki Doki Literature Club) and a wolf called Arrow, from a youtube movie titled "Wolf Song" from creator ThunderKathryn.

It's the same nickname I have used since I found out about the internet when a kid.
Numbers in the place of letters is cringe, but took my too long to notice that, and i got attatched to this nickname ;w;

On the bright side, I didn't use -xX-m3g4p0n1-Xx- or random numbers.

I have changed my name in each place according to the mood. But that's very fascinating.

Very tired misspelling of 'Rorke's Drift'
I stuck with it after I used it for a username once on a game

If anyone wants to know mine comes from my past of depression and at the time I was despairing over how apathetic I’ve gotten. Edgy name with that in mind but whatever.

I’m doing much better now

I'm an avid ska listener, and I like Kamen Rider and Tokusatsu in general. The pun was too good to pass up

I read a story about a character named bog bun but most people called the character spookybun so i just used it... so yeah.

saw an image on discord with the caption "my balls when i put them in the micheal wave" i didnt find it that funny by itself but i was trying to find some other name to rebrand to because i was getting sick of how bland my og name was and thought michaelwave would be funny as an online handle, esp if i became very talented at something someday i can have a stupid ass name to mess with people lol

eventually decided to add 1997 on the end bc i wanted to make it 100% unique .........not my birthday like some people think, literally just a reference to spamton hehe

I got mine from a "what's your vaporwave name" meme and shortened it to just holofoxes because holographicfoxes is a mouthful for most online spaces and video games

Mine was taken from an old fan-made flash game called Mario Forever (freakin' love that game), specifically the power-up known as "Green Jumping Lui" where Mario gains the high jumping ability that Luigi had in Mario Bros. 2.

I was addicted to this game as a kid and was also in an "art phase" and wanted a cool name to use as my artist name. I dropped the "jumping" part and combined the "green" and "lui" which was perfect for me since green is my favorite color and Luigi is my favorite Mario character.

"rude dog" was a character used for sun sportswear in the 80s (i think...)
iirc it refers to the "rude boy" culture which was kinda hip then ? eventually the character got a (pretty cringe) 80s cartoon. it lasted one season and the character hasnt been used since. he's very cute and unique looking, i got a shirt with him on it!!

I needed to letters before the word 'Scales'
kinda wish I picked a better one tbh

staring at the furry mascots on house brand boxes in the cereal aisle is a heck of a time to start lazily wondering what username to choose.

I resisting making an account here until I was forced to when certain stuff got locked behind having one

I'm sticking with it now though lol

Cronyx Ravage was/is a roleplay character I made on a very, very long term FFRP campaign setting on IRC back in the 90's. A "cronyx" is a kind of hybrid crow/phoenix, and an astrological sign in the night sky of his homeworld. So it's a bit like someone being named Ares or Taurus or something. He was the first character I ever made. I had originally borrowed the AD&D 2nd Edition "Monsterous Manual" from a friend, having never played D&D before, and in fact having been warned off of it due to concerns of it being of "satanic influence." Audible eye-roll. I learned it was nothing of the sort, and as I was thumbing through those pages of fanciful monsters, I stopped on the entry for the Rakshasa, and Cronyx spawned almost fully formed in my head. He was a white Rakshasa at the time, but eventually I developed away from that into a unique species, the felenzi, and over time, developed the timeline of their culture and history.

You now stand in the presence of Cronyx of Clan Ravage, first of his name, Necromaster, Heresiarch of Deicide, The Skeletal Hand, The Twelfth Hrönir, and The King of Worms.

It's every bit as 90's edgy as it sounds, and I remain unapologetic. :P

The story behind my username? My Zoroark (and one of my main fursona)'s actual name

i actually have many, many names

My Pokesona is Nise Pawmo. He has imitation powers ranging from color changing, voice modifying and even limited transformation but often with some flaws, hence his name (偽 Japanese for "fake")

But on here "Nise" by itself was taken, so I added 86 to it because he's also based on Hamtaro, a character he/I like and was the obvious inspiration for his usual color scheme

Gwen Scarlet are two names I've and still am using since I came out as trans three years ago!
as for the numbers I just added those in case anyone had the username GwenScarlet taken already

So, the Aurora in my name comes from where I used to live: Aurora, Illinois. The Bear part is just because I really like bears. The 2 is because I love that number and also because my birthday is in February, which is the 2nd month.

Don't really use my e6 account, but this has a username I don't use anywhere else, so I figured I'd comment.

When the Pokemon Gold/Silver SpaceWorld beta got dumped, my friend played it and put in random Japanese characters for his character's name. He had no idea what they meant, but I did, and I ended up remembering it when I made an account for some third-party thing I needed one for. It's also why my profile picture is beta Kingdra. It was the first piece of art of my favorite betamon, and from one of my favorite artists to boot.

YourFate/Fates is just related to how I like to know the fate of things, YourFate is used when Fates is not available for use.

I don't consider it a good nickname, but I can't think of any better one, and now I'm used to it.

i own a few ducks in real life, and they're wearing a trench coat because they're trying to be anonymous (i use the term "duck" in usernames for other websites too, and i don't want people on those sites to know that i'm also on a furry porn site, though finding me wouldn't be too difficult anyway.)

I didn't want to use my usual usernames since I favorite pretty degenerate stuff. This was my NSFW Tumblr's URL back in the day so I felt it made sense to bring it back.
