Not a major bug report, but I think being able to generate multiple API calls in a fraction of a second via ordinary(?) browser interaction is probably not desirable.

Explanation: My mouse button 'bounces' (this is a technical term related to behaviour of microswitches, registering multiple 'presses' when there was only one from a user perspective). This can mean for example that an upvote is queued and then an un-upvote, within about 0.2 of a second. (because both of those actions are performed by clicking on the same element).

It is also possible to generate such events programmatically (with an automation tool like xdotool). But actually doing things at that speed seems to be unreliable whether done by user or automation, so it would be nice if elements like fav or upvote would be unresponsive for 0.250 sec or so after a click.

(I've been asked to confirm I am not a robot a bit recently, and also wonder if that's related to click speed)

If it's done through the normal settings page, it wouldn't show up there.
If it's done through the admin blacklist editing tool, it will.

I don't really think that it's a big deal.

After login in to acount i dont see site on mobile version, cent change it in seting im using opera, reinstaling opere didnt work. But befor login mobile version work. So im stuck on computer vision which is anoyng to use on phone :/

Whenever I try to login on Desktop it will not allow me to do so and says incorrect user and password no matter what. Have attempted to reset the password and it will login perfectly fine on Mobile but the same user and pass combo will not login to the Desktop site.

I don't know if this was intentional or not, but for the past few days I haven't been able to zoom how I usually do on Mobile. I am usually able to double tap on the screen and pull down while holding the second tap to zoom in or out, as an alternative way of the normal pinching. I checked all other apps, and even other web pages on the same browser app I'm using (Brave), including e6ai, and they can all zoom how I normally do. Is this a bug, or an intentional feature of the website?

It's a little confusing but the status actually refers to the artist page itself and not the artist. The two values for it are "Active" and "Deleted", if the page has been soft deleted.

Looks like the mod actions table is incomplete again.

This isn't anything new (I think it's been like this for probably over a year), but the upvote button on posts is very unreliable. Sometimes it works the first time if I'm lucky, but if I'm unlucky, I may need to click it 10+ times before it works. Whether it's successful or unsuccessful, it still gives the "updating posts (1 pending)" and "posts updated" messages. Since I don't see others complaining about this, I'm guessing it might be related to me having a comically large number of liked posts, which is why I've been hesitant to mention this. If my theory is right, it's sorta my fault.

EDIT: It seems to be working pretty reliably now... at least for now.

Can confirm, happens in most places that have the blacklisted icon preview.

The offending lines are here and changing those values to any positive number obviously results in it no longer crashing the browser. But this isn't really a good solution because you don't want to see 1 pixel of the blacklisted image in the corner.

This is very obviously a browser bug, websites should not be able to crash it. But I can take a look at what's going on, maybe some attributes are not set correctly or are empty.

Edit: As faucet has helpfully found out it's presumably because of CSS for blacklisting . Samsung can fix this in their browser, I don't want to change how it works for this.

Anyone else finding the site extremely slow for the last hour?

Edit: On second look, it appears to be my own internet misbehaving. Never mmind.

Odd. When I try to remove it and click Preview Final Tags, it lists it being added by nap_zack: nap_zack ⇐ visual_novel. But nap_zack's wiki page only lists the implication to tail_tale (which itself only implicates yaminabe_aries, which implicates nothing more).

There seems to be a deleted implication for yamanabe_aries -> visual_novel , maybe the implication didn't go through properly?
Maybe re-impliying it and unimplying again fixes the issue?

A random post got fav. When I search for my Favs it is there, when I go to the post it shows the green button to Add to favorites, as it if was not faved. If I click it shows an error saying "Error: You have already favorited this post" I cannot remove it from my favorites. I did not favorite it.

Okay this is the second time this has happened this week. E621 images are really, really, really slow to load and download. It's not my internet because other sites are loading fine. E621 itself is loading fine (ie, the forum opened up quick with no issue), it's just the images. Image THUMBNAILS load fine, but the images themselves are snail's pace.

Having similar issues, except even the thumbnails take some time to load on occasion. My internet connection is fine.

I think that's right place. Upon entering e926, as far as I know sfw version of e621 that is kind of connected, you still get warning message about being 18+ which is kinda counterintuitive if the whole reason of e926 is NOT being 18+. That's all. Cheers.

It seems that if a forum post has multiple BURs, voting on one prevents you from voting on another until you reload the page

It lasted for a couple of hours but then resolved, and was fixed by the time you posted. But, again, this is the second time it's happened, and it seemed to then happen again to Louiz after I had gone to sleep.

I am too encounting slow website loading and downloads. Noted it yesterday. I was browsing, got about 12 pages in, and the whole page loads fine, but images are not loading at all, basically came to a standstill. I just blindly downloaded an image from one of the posts that are not loading. It took almost 9 minutes to get a 700k file.

And amidst typing this, they came back to loading normally.

Since you already posted the correct version, you could have done this yourself. I did it for you, but for future reference, the button you are looking for is "Flag". Attempts to get posts deleted by other means will usually be ignored.

Happening here too on IOS, I’ve never had a similar issue with this site before

Same thing for me, slow loading and all... But on my PC. From a phone, things work out fine strangely enough.

yeah i'm also encountering extremely slow download speeds. the rate seems to be around 20mb/minute, which is atrocious. i assume it has to do with the recent server migration.

Not sure if this is a bug, intentional or an oversight. But the tags autocomplete feature doesn't work on this page https://e621.net/post_versions only the user autocomplete works.

When viewing the records directly from the banned user's profile, it shows the usual red/negative colour.

Looks to be a feature. All of the green entries are temporary bans that have since expired. They all also have the HTML data attribute data-expired="true" which the CSS targets to turn it green.

Don't worry, I had the same confusion last time I looked at those pages and only just figured it out tonight.

Tags with a count of a million or above incorrectly display as "1000k" or similar - check any image with male and you can see it.

IIRC, that's deliberate. It used to display as "1m" initially with the site revamp, but it lost a significant amount of precision (1,000,000 and 1,999,999 would both display as 1m, despite a 999k difference), so it caps at 'k' and just keeps using more digits.

Ah, odd, but thanks. I feel like it would just make more sense to do like 1.9m though, lol.

I'm having a hard time with my blacklist because i have about ten tags on my blacklist that still show up regardless of my blacklist. i have scat blacklisted, yet posts with scat in them still show up constantly

So I'm getting a dark green screen whenever I try to watch any WEBMs, be it a sample, fit for horizontal/vertical or the original thing, most I can do is listen.
Weird thing is, doesn't happen with GIFs and just to test if it was simply my phone was getting past it's due I tested it on Microsoft Edge which was installed, and strangely it worked fine there..

Voting in cases where multiple polls are available (topic #37340) seems to incorrectly hide voting buttons for multiple polls. I had to refresh the page to vote on the first poll, after voting on the second.

I have a very annoying issue, I have this one animation that is stuck in my favorites yet it can't be unfavorited and I don't want it to be in my favorites. the button shows that I'm not favoriting it on the specific post, and its annoying to a degree, the animation in question is this : https://e621.net/posts/2523003?q=fav%3Ajeromy384 anyway to fix that?

This issue pops up occasionally, there's instructions how to fix it here: forum #316652. For step 1 you'll need id:2523003 instead.

Looks like that information wasn't saved in the proper place before then. Maybe I could backfill based on the history? Ancient wiki pages don't have the updater saved even there. The inconsistencies in the data won't make this any easier which is probably why no one has done this yet.

i was attempting to sort images by score with order:score, but "The database timed out running [my] query" the log ID is: 2a783b50-80c9-4ba0-8cdb-961e63d402de using order:score_asc works fine.

I'm aware of the search timeouts. Looking into stuff that might remedy this, but no promise on when. Recently I have been preparing for a db upgrade, which will hopefully help with this once it happens.

Ironically, I just got "The database timed out running your query" when attempting to open this very thread, so it's not just a search problem.

I didn't get a database error, but the forums have been inaccessible for half hour intervals on occasion; Usually at times when the main e621 servers are mostly or entirely unresponsive. I thought the forum was on a separate server. Is that not the case any more?
