Topic: [APPROVED] Tag BUR: Disambiguating Cells

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The bulk update request #996 is active.

create alias cell (0) -> cell_(disambiguation) (4)
create alias cells (0) -> cell_(disambiguation) (4)
change category cell_(disambiguation) (4) -> invalid

Reason: Cell is an ambiguous tag, suggest to disambiguate.
Proposing to use the new tag, cell_(biology), for non-character animal/plant cells.

Disambiguation Wiki

"Cell" can mean/refer to several things, and therefore is an ambiguous term. Use more specific tags instead, such as:

Characters

Species

Location

Objects/Other

BUR Part 2 (WIP)

alias egg_cell -> ovum (completed)
alias jail_cell -> prison_cell (completed)

(Separate Dragon Ball BUR; topic #32252)
imply imperfect_cell -> cell_(dragon_ball)
imply semi-perfect_cell -> cell_(dragon_ball)
imply perfect_cell -> cell_(dragon_ball)
imply cell_(dragon_ball) -> dragon_ball

On a separate note and something worth of discussion, what should we do with the *_(organism) species tags?
While I do see that some that are used for anthropomorphised organisms, a whole bunch of new categories have been erroneously created and added in by @ArtistClone24.

I do not see the practical purpose of having so many different classifications (except for a few notable ones), and there is the issue of whether the viruses can be considered a species tag here.

If there's any that are treated like characters, I'd say yes. After all, there's also food_creature, animate inanimate, and flora_fauna as examples. Perhaps something like virus_creature would be of use?

I guess it really depends on how they are drawn or designed.
Virus_creature could work, but then it will also have to be tagged for anything ranging from simple doodles to full characters.

And then there is the case with non-virus organisms like cells and bacteria, do they get a similar cell_creature tag?
For example, Osmosis Jones, canonically a white blood cell, gets tagged as a goo_creature instead.
