I'm having trouble deciding on what to tag (or if to tag) the concept depicted here, with the sperm taking a more active role in "attacking" or "trapping" the ovum.
I see it extremely rarely, but that might be in part because it's not really something that has a clear name, so it's hard to find more of it.

Here's another, off-site example of what I'm talking about.

Perhaps it's just too niche and abstract to be tagged, but figured I'd give it a go.

My first instinct is something along the lines of sentient_sperm but that might imply something different than intended.
Another option is perhaps overpowering_sperm

Huh, interesting... maybe it could be tagged as sperm_dominating_egg or something like that ?
"Overpowering_spem" sounds ambiguous, since the ovulum could also overpower the sperm, somehow.

I do like that, its a fair bit more intuitive than my first thoughts.
Now it's just a matter of finding enough examples to change to make it stick, I suppose.

It's because it's Not pinned, it probably should be.

It is, there's just a lot of pins there so it's hard to see. I'm not sure why we need 15 pinned posts on a page that only shows 40 posts at a time.

Quite a few aren't really relevant anymore, and should just be unpinned and added to the Collection of Interesting Information and Forum Threads! thread instead.

since when did it get pinned? i remember for the longest time that it's been just floating around unpinned

also i do agree with you with pin bloat, i don't know enough about the inner workings on which PSAs should get unpinned; but i'm sure it's one of them!

Dunno how practical and feasible that would be, but I think a good change would be to:
1) Keep all pinned topics in their own section, apart from the "normal topic" section.
My idea is that the pinned topics would work similarly to DText sections.

2) Instead of doing the previous one, we could create a new forum category to throw all pinned posts into.
And to make sure people look at them at least once and a while, we can make that category the default one when accessing through the forum header bar.

-As for the (pinned) text being hard to see, how about we use the " 📌 " emoji instead? Kinda hard to miss in a blue background.
And maybe add the 🔒 emoji for locked posts since we are at that

Or maybe reduce the really old ones to posts linked off a single one and only bumping it when one of them changes? XD
