Reason: Incest is implied to incest_(lore) which, as the name suggests, is a lore tag. But then, there are tags like father_penetrating_son and brother_penetrating_sister which are general. If the site's gonna enforce incest as a lore-related tag rather than anything all that visibly tangible, then they must be lore tags too.

Alternatively, most of these could always be aliased to adult_on_young.

There have been many discussions regarding moving family and relatives tags to the lore category. Although it is widely accepted, many users (as well as staff) constantly point out how insanely difficult and time consuming it will be.

…and it would be a complete nightmare to rearrange. I mean look at how many tags are aliased to grandparent_and_grandchild. For example, if we wish to alias those tags to grandparent_and_grandchild_(lore), we would have to unalias them from the existing tag and then alias them to the new tag.

Good luck keeping track of all those tags.

I don't think that bad_parenting should be included on this list, it's taged based on the themes of the post and not just external knowledge; it's tagged in the same way that stuff like infidelity or unprofessional_behavior is.

bad_parenting doesn't even necessarily need to include an actual parent, just a character that should be acting in a parental/guardian role through incomplete/malace/whatever is abusing, traumatizing, or corrupting a child character.

The bulk update request #4643 has been rejected.

Reason: After reading the feedback, I made a modified version of the bur, I did not know that lore tags were extra special. It is not a good design decision, but alas there is nothing I can do about it.

Because I don't see the parent on own child ever being aliased to their respective lore tags given how daunting that sounds, my idea is to invalidate them and imply them to adult_on_young.

Invalidating the tags is a bad idea. The tags are very valid and should be used accordingly. The only problem with these tags is the fact that changing them to lore would be a huge process. Unless someone is willing to put hard work im changing the tags, we just have to deal with them as is.
