Yeah it is unfortunate but it confirms Nibbly isn't a squirrel and may not be a dragon since Remus was quite surprised.
He is now the second character to die by fall.

So Why is Nibbly who acts as the innocent squirrel eevee and is like I think friend of one of female furry character kinda goes and end up getting a somewhat villain to maybe kick the bucket.

1. It was never Nibs.
2. Nibs is not a living being entirely.
3. Someone came to Nibs' rescue (The Chimera maybe? Or a Stone Guardian?).
4. Clovis disposing of another of his mooks.

Can't be clovis Remus was saying "what is that?" Before falling and Clovis has no reason to off him. But he did seem to look backwards where Nibs was and behind her is just a wall so I doubt the Chimera wad there and Stoney is defending Trace from his imperfect dark AI.

I guess as a third thing the tail covering the crotch as he died is awkward, they never have anything there anyways :P

It's symbolic: something REALLY SCARED HIM, to a point he couldn't repress his instincts.

April 1st is coming up, that might be what's going to happen on the next page.

I called this a month ago.

You should know Tom better than that. She'll dispatch the wolf but neither Sythe nor the viewer will get a clear enough view to tell exactly what happens, leaving the mystery ongoing.

I'd bet money on it.

If you've read TwoKinds for over a decade and a half, you know all of Tom's tricks. Unfortunately bait and switching, constantly tease but never show, and scene switch at dramatic moment to the other current subplot, leaving the reader hanging are his favorite ones, and he's run them into the ground.
