Playable character from the first person action shooter Overwatch created by Blizzard Entertainment. He is voiced by Darin de Paul.

Reinhardt is a tank type hero whose abilities focus on power melee attacks, a strong defensive shield, and a quick mobility boost that can double as a powerful attack. As one of the eldest members of the Overwatch Agency, Reinhardt was also one of it's first members. As a decorated German Soldier he was inducted into Overwatch during the early days of the Omnic Crisis and served with distinction in that conflict and after its resolution. As Reinhardt approached his late fifties he faced mandatory retirement from combat operations, despondent that he would be removed from the field of battle Reinhardt feared he would be put behind a desk and left to waste his days away watching others fight battles he yearned to fight. Unfortunately or fortunately those times never came, Overwatch fell under suspicion of corruption and gradually tore itself apart from the inside, even after it's disbanding Reinhardt continued to wear his Crusader armor and champion the causes of Overwatch despite the legal ramifications of doing so.

Personality
Reinhardt is often described as a "Knight of Old" because of his deep dedication to the Chivalric Code. Reinhardt values Justice, Courage, and Valor deeply and strives to exhibit these traits in his every day life. While being one of Overwatch's greatest champions he is also its greatest critic and often it's sole voice of reason. Outside of battle he is described by peers as jolly and good natured with a strong desire to make the world a better and safer place. It is assumed he is a fan of D.Va as he can be seen at one point asking her for an autograph. Reinhardt also enjoys "classical music" such as the works of David Hasselhoff.
