Playable character from the first person action shooter Overwatch created by Blizzard Entertainment. He is voiced by Fred Tatasciore.

Soldier 76 is a offense focused hero whose abilities focus on ranged attacks and a barrier that can heal himself and his allies. Before becoming the mysterious Soldier 76 he was known as Jack Morrison a prominent and rising star in the ranks of the Overwatch Agency. During a UN Investigation a conflict broke out between Gabriel Reyes and Morrison. Morrison was presumed killed in the conflict though no body was found and he was given a burial at Arlington National Cemetery. Jack however did not die, but instead adopted the persona of Soldier 76. Using his abilities from the soldier enhancement project and additional bionic augmentations he wages a personal war to expose the truth behind the collapse of Overwatch.

Personality
Soldier 76 is obsessed with Justice, even taking extreme measures to bring criminals to justice. He is also fiercely protective of the weak and innocent. In combat he is blithe and often taunts his opponents, belittling their abilities. Outside of combat he is often seen as a gruff and rugged individual who is often heard commenting about his own old age.
