Playable character from the first person action shooter Overwatch created by Blizzard Entertainment. He is voiced by Paul Nakauchi.

Hanzo is a defense oriented hero whose skills specialize in quick ranged attacks, enemy detection, and mobility. Hanzo trained from an early age in the use of a bow, his preferred weapon. He also trained in the art of swordplay and martial arts, making him a skilled warrior and assassin. Following the death of his father Hanzo succeeded him and took over running the Shimada Clan's criminal empire. His father's final wish was for Hanzo to begin the tutelage of his younger brother, Genji, and begin to train him to take a more active role in the Shimada clan's dealings. Genji refused, having no interest in the Clan's criminal activities. Eventually the two brothers came to blows and Hanzo found himself mortally wounding his brother. The action weighed heavily on Hanzo who had not meant to take things so far. His spirit broken and unable to live with his fratricide, Hanzo abandoned his father's criminal empire and began to travel the world in an effort to find redemption and perfect his warrior skills.

Personality
Hanzo has a deep sense of duty and responsibility that served him well as the leader of the Shimada Empire. However after his battle with his brother he realized that even duty and responsibility come with limits and he abandoned the criminal empire of his father and focused on redeeming his past actions and honing his skills.
