Playable character from the first person action shooter Overwatch created by Blizzard Entertainment. He is voiced by Keith Ferguson.

Reaper is an offense oriented tank with abilities that specialize in high mobility, damage avoidance, and powerful attacks. As Gabriel Reyes he served with Jack Morrison in the Soldier Enhancement Project and became close friends with him. Both soldiers entered the Overwatch program early in its infancy. After the end of the Omnic Crisis he took over the command of Blackwatch while Morrison was promoted to Strike Commander of Overwatch as a whole. This led to a growing resentment of Morrison's continued accolades and eventually he led a rebellion against Jack Morrison and the old guard. In the resulting combat Reyes was gravely wounded and it is implied his life was only spared by the medical intervention of Mercy. Despite his miraculous survival his cells now undergo increased rates of decay and regeneration giving him the ability to heal injuries and avoid damage entirely. Following his injury he adopted the mysterious persona of Reaper and began working for the terror organization known as Talon.

Personality
Reaper has admitted to himself and others that he is a high functioning psychopath who is willing to kill at a moments notice for any reason or no reason at all. He can also be petty and cruel, delighting in toying with his opponents when he has the upper hand. Despite his dark nature Reaper also has twisted sense of humor, often joking about his own condition and its resemblance to his namesake The Grim Reaper.
