Alolan Raichu is an Electric/Psychic type variant on "normal" Raichu, an Electric-type Pokémon.

Alolan Raichu is a bipedal, rodent-like Pokémon. Alolan Raichu is covered in orange fur with a cream belly. Its fours paws have patches of white fur. Its yellow ears tuck into a tight curl at the bases. The electric sacs on its cheeks are yellow. Its long, thin tail has a lightning bolt-shaped end, though it is not nearly as sharp as normal Raichu's. Its tail is used to gather electricity from the atmosphere, or it can be planted in the ground to search for electricity.

As a Psychic, Alolan Raichu can levitate, and it brings its lightning-bolt tail underneath its feet when it does so, like a surfboard - surfing on nothing but air.
