Wolf-like species from the Monster Rancher video games and anime series, distinguished by a thick mane and forward-curving horns on the head. The name is a mal-entendre of the Japanese raiga (雷牙; "thunder fang"), in turn a reference to Rygar, the title of another game series by Tecmo. Tigers have elemental powers including electricity and breathing ice and wind.

Two prominent characters in the anime include Tiger of the Wind and his brother Gray Wolf.
