A trash bag, also called a garbage bag, bin bag or bin liner, is a disposable bag used to contain trash. Most bags these days are made out of plastic, and are typically black in color.

The insides of trash bags are coated in chemicals that make them hazardous to ingest. Whatever is put in a trash bag should stay in a trash bag, and should not be used for transportation or storage. For this reason, never eat out of a trash bag.
