daww

A tag for posts that are intended to be cute, endearing, and/or evoke a feeling of intimacy, wholesomeness, or tenderness — imagery that may make the viewer say "d'aww".
Think a cute kid character hugging a plush, a couple spending time with each other, a happy wedding, puppies and kittens playing, parents doing fun activities with their kids, friends sharing a hug or a character receiving a head rub or head pat. "Daww" also frequently involves stereotypically cute characters, with big, glossy, expressive eyes, and chibi-fied anatomy (in some cases, adult characters may appear or explicitly be aged down to cuter, child versions of themselves).
General guidelines
- Most images that fall under daww will be rated safe, but exceptions do exist. It is highly recommended that this tag not be used for lewd scenes and contexts. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Pinups
- Ahegao or similar lewd expressions.
- Suggestive content unless it is very innocent in nature.
- Presenting or other sexual invitations.
Situations involving casual nudity, casual exposure, the depiction of an x anus or genitals in a non-sexualized manner, the depiction of blood do not outright disqualify an image from being tagged as daww. It matters more that the scene doesn't contain an apparent sexual theme that would distract from an otherwise innocent context.

Try to tag for situations where the character is doing something that enhances the emotional quality of the scene itself. It can involve just a pose, or a particular expression, but consider leaving more generic scenarios out of the tag.
