Sex shot describes a close cropped image focused on characters' genitalia (as well as mouth or anus) as they are engaged in sexual activities.

Alternatively, a "sex shot" can feature the face or hand of one of the characters as they finger or perform oral on the other character, whose genitals are in focus.

A sex shot may be the entire image, or a smaller panel within a larger image or comic, it can also be a scene within an animation. The third example above is roughly the widest angle or "furthest zoomed-out image" of what can count as a sex_shot.

• The sex shot by itself shouldn't show either participant's face, unless...
• oral sex is involved — an "oral sex shot" should be focused on the face and genitalia
• if the characters' faces are shown in small reaction shot panels
• the angle allows a character's face to be visible at a distance, with a very close-up shot of their crotch
