Shredders are types of machinery that shred/grind whatever is placed in it into pieces.
Examples:
- meat_grinder — An appliance generally loaded through a funnel at the top, mincing the input which is then pushed out of a tube to the side.
- woodchipper — An appliance generally loaded through a hopper on the side, shredding the input which is then ejected through a raised funnel on the side.
- industrial_shredder — Large shredding appliances that come in a variety of forms, featuring horizontal cylinders covered in hooks or blades, the input being dropped in and dragged through, exiting below in pieces.
- paper_shredder — A tall container with a shredder built into the top, where thin input materials can be inserted to be vertically cut into strips, with or without horizontal cutting.
- food_processor — An appliance with interchangeable shredding disks, which can be loaded through a chamber on the lid, where the input is manually pressed down through the spinning disk and into the container below.
