This tag is used when all of a character's toes can be defined well enough through their socks such that they can be counted, but not so well defined as to constitute toe_socks. One of the main features of this tag is how a character's socks will usually stretch from the tips of their toes like webbing, especially when spread_toes are involved. This tag may also be especially apparent when a character's socks are being pulled back because they are being removed.

This tag may be used in conjunction with tabi_socks as long as each toe can still be uniquely identified aside from the big toe. This tag may also be used alongside sheer_socks assuming the toes are still creating an outline on the socks (not to be used just because you can see them through the socks).

Not to be confused with

• toe_socks - Socks that are separated between the character's toes, much more clearly defined than toe_outline
• sheer_socks - Socks made from nylon, thin enough to clearly show the wearer's toes under the right conditions.
