sploot
Lying on the belly with the rear legs outstretched as opposed to tucked under. A behavior seen in dogs, cats, squirrels, and many other animals. May indicate comfort and relaxation; may also be a means to cool down with the abdomen flat against a cool surface. Applies only to feral characters for whom this is an atypical position. For anthro or humanoid characters, use on front (which automatically implies lying).
