nailed
A method of torture involving nails, pins, or other small, and sharp implements driven through the flesh (usually limbs (arms, legs), or appendages (hands, wrists, ankles) binding a character in place.
Not to be confused with
- impalement – The difference between the two concept is that nailed involves localized body parts, and small implements, and impalement involves skewering the torso, and large implements such as stakes or poles.
- nails – (finger/toe) nails and claws are intended part of a body. A nail with this pages/tags intention is an implement and applicable to a body only through violence.
