These details may help identifying and tagging small butts:

• As with big butt and butt, the line between small butt, and with the "average" sized butt can sometimes be blurry. Below is an image showing a small butt (left) and "average" sized butt (right) , side by side.

• The outside edge of a small butt will usually "blend in" with the curve of the hips and thighs from a rear view, shading and/or lines are usually used to distinguish the bottom of the buttocks from the top of the thighs, and imply the butt's form. In less common cases, shading or hatched lines at the upper outside corners of the butt will distinguish the sides of the actual cheeks from the hips (see example below) this is more commonly seen on athletic or muscular characters with toned glutes.

• Sometimes the butt will only be defined by a curved line for the butt crack, and subtle lines underneath the cheeks where they meet the thighs, sometimes the line of the butt crack and the lines underneath the buttocks meet in a curvy upside-down "T" shape.

• Slim and Skinny characters with small butts will usually have a thigh gap, their genitals may be visible from behind, even when standing upright; when bent over, the thigh and butt cheeks will blend together; their anus and genitals will also be fully exposed without need for spreading the cheeks. Especially thin characters' butts will follow the shape/forms of the pelvic and leg bones (see example below).
