misgendering

Misgendering means referring to someone by a gender to which they do not identify. For tagging purposes (according to the tag_what_you_see policy), this tag should be applied to images in which one character refers to another by a gender to which they do not appear to conform. For example, addressing a character tagged male as a female or vice versa.
