The Canada Goose is a large wild goose species with a visually distinct black head and neck, white patches on the face, and a brown body. It is well known for its honking, V-shaped flight formation, hissing and amusingly ill temper towards humans.
Canada geese are found throughout arctic and temperate regions of North America, (particularly Canada, as their name suggests), its migration occasionally reaches northern Europe.
